Bay View High School has earned a respected reputation as a leading educational institution through our commitment to providing a quality education. We have strong links with prestigious UK, USA and Canadian Universities and the best universities at home, including our own University of London International BSc and LLB programmes.
With an emphasis on critical thinking skills through highly interactive classes and professional genuinely dedicated teachers, our students are guaranteed individual attention which ensures student success.
Admissions are selective. Our student body is relatively small unlike other schools, so students are not 'lost in the crowd' but gain enormously from the personal attention and guidance that has become synonymous with our success. We provide an exciting, challenging and positive environment in which A-level students lead the way and enjoy the personal growth and empowerment that careful academic guidance and leadership experience offer.
A-LEVEL PROGRAMME 2012: ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Admission Applications Accepted from 15th February 2012
We look forward to welcoming you to Bay View High. You may apply ONLINE from this date and related materials may be downloaded from the website or collected from the College Campus office. Campus tours will be arranged in February and March for prospective students and parents. Please consult the website for updates. Once your application is received we will call you for a tour and orientation session.
Admission Requirements:
Admission to the Bay View High A-level Programme is strictly based on merit. The Admissions Committee will consider applications on a continuous basis from February 2012 onwards. To guarantee individual attention and guidance, A-level seats are limited therefore it is advisable to apply early.
Complete Applications once received will be acknowledged by email.
Evaluation is based on past academic records (classes 9-11), previous school recommendations and final O-level results. Candidates who apply before the O-level results are available will be considered based on their current school performance and will be made a conditional offer pending Cambridge results.
Please ensure the application is complete, otherwise this will delay your chance of being offered a place.
Scholarships:
Limited partial merit scholarships are available for students with exceptional O-level results.
Applicants should follow the procedure below:
Complete the on-line A-level Application Form from www.bayviewhigh.com as explained.
Submit the (hard copy) paper Application Form with all required documents in person at the school from 15th February 2012 daily and on Saturdays between 12.00pm and 3.00pm. Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis, so the earlier your application is submitted, the better your chance of being offered a place.
Submit one attested photocopy of current O-level certificates (June / Nov 2011).
Submit O-level statement of results on the day or day after the results are issued by Cambridge.
Submit a School Leaving Certificate along with Cambridge results in August 2012.

Campus Tours: You may call and make a booking for a Campus Tour on Tuesdays and Thursdays (2.15pm – 3.00pm). Please bring along your school I.D. card.
