University Admissions / College Counselling Team
University and College admissions are increasingly competitive and our students are guided through the application process for the colleges of their choice by the College Counselling Team, including The Director of Studies, Vice Principal and Senior Faculty who personally counsel the students.
We review each personal statement several times to give the student the best shot at gaining admission at the best institutions.
Top Universities in the UK, US and Canada know Bay View High by name as our students traditionally gain admission at prestigious universities. The majority of students gain a place at their FIRST CHOICE university, which is an indicator of our effective counselling system.
Counselor recommendations have a significant impact on the outcomes of university applications.
University Placement
All Bay View High A-level graduates proceed to complete a university education either locally or abroad. As a result of our excellent College Counselling Team, the majority of students are accepted at the universities of their choice, often at leading universities at home or abroad.
Our counselling programme informs students about the College and University Application process for USA, Canada, UK, Australia, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan, along with individual follow up until applications are complete. Increasingly A-level students are opting to join our in-house University of London. International BSc and LLB programmes.
Recent Graduates are now studying at the London School of Economics, Imperial College London, King's College, Warwick, St. Andrew's, U.C.L. and Manchester in UK, McGill, University of Toronto in Canada, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Boston Univ., Rutgers, Tufts, Case Western, U.S.C. in USA and IBA, LUMS, NUST and Indus Valley at home.

Academic Counselling – Advisor System
All students will meet their advisor twice a term in a compulsory meeting. In addition, students may arrange to see their advisor at any time.
Academic Counsellors or Advisors are available to discuss students' academic progress and are available should the student have any difficulties with academics or other issues affecting their academic progress.
Academic Feedback Through The 'Bay View Portal'
- Students and Parents should request a password if they haven’t already received one.
- Regular attendance is crucial to exam success.
- Parents and students may check attendance on the Bay View Portal.
- Formal Monthly reports are issued twice a term on the Portal.
- Formal Termly reports are issued twice a year in January and May.
- Parents may make an appointment at any time to meet the teachers or to discuss student progress with the Administration
- Regular Parent-Teacher conferences are also held once a term.
Guidance Counselling
Ms. Saba Zain [Ph.D. Clinical Psychology] is available daily for personal counselling in confidence. Students may make an appointment directly with the guidance counsellor or may be referred by faculty.
